Payment of registration fees

– either electronically by credit card: go to payment
[rouge]In some cases, e.g. when the system prevents you paying twice, some debug data appears and the amount (Montant_Transaction) is given in cents (not in euros!!). Don't worry, this is expected ![/rouge]

– all participants should register
– participants with a grant should fill up all parts of the registration form with the exception of "proceed to payment"

The registration form includes
– registration to each day of the Symposium
– registration for accommodation at CIEP
– registration to dinners at CIEP. Please, note that a Welcome Dinner and a "dessert talk" by E. Høg are programmed on Monday evening
– registration to the social dinner
– abstract submission

Grants

There are limited funds to support participants. Priority will be given to young scientists.
Applications should include the motivation to participate to the Symposium, an abstract of the proposed contribution or poster, a list of publications, and a detailed justification of the amount requested. Successful applicants will not have to pay any registration fee.

– Applications should be sent to Catherine Turon, Catherine.Turon - obspm.fr, before 15 March 2010.
– The SOC will notify participants of possible financial help no later than 5 April 2010.
– The successful applicants should then contact the LOC, Yves.Viala - obspm.fr for practical aspects

Registration fees

[rouge]A receipt of registration fees and of accommodation expenses will be provided to each registered participant at the start of the Symposium.

(1) Registration fees, constant part: give free access to conference facilities, the abstract booklet, the welcome cocktail, the coffee breaks and lunches, the social dinner and conference proceedings.
– Early registration fees, until 16 April 2010: 180 €
– Late registration fees, until 18 May 2010: 220 €

(2) Registration fees, supplement for accommodation at the CIEP:
– Accommodation (night + breakfast): 62 € per night.
– Dinner: 22 € per dinner.

(3) Accompanying persons
If you plan to come with an accompanying person, please contact Yves.Viala - obspm.fr for special reservation at CIEP
– Accommodation supplement for accompanying person (night + breakfast): 34 € per night
– Dinner for accompanying person : 22 € per dinner
– Social dinner for accompanying person : 60 €
– Lunch will not be possible at CIEP for accompanying person, because of the limited number of places at the restaurant.

(4) Participants with a grant
Participants with a grant have no fees to pay, but
– should fill up the registration form, but not click on "proceed to payment"
– should send a mail to Yves.Viala - obspm.fr to confirm their days of arrival and of departure + indicate the dinners that they will take at CIEP

[rouge]Important remarks:[/rouge]
– CIEP will not charge any payment directly to participants: accommodation costs will be charged to the LOC. As a consequence, accommodation and dinners at CIEP have to be paid as a complementary registration fee. Please fill up very carefully the registration form.
– Cancellation: cancellation with reimbursement will only be possible until 28 May 2010 (one week before the start of the meeting). In such a case, registration fees will be reimbursed with the exception of a small management fee. If the cancellation happens during the last week before the meeting, no reimbursement will be possible.
