CU6: Gaia spectroscopic data processing

Objectif
The coordination unit CU6 is part of the Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consortium (DPAC). Within this frame, it will be in charge of the ground-based processing and analysis of the Gaia spectroscopic data, i.e. the data obtained with Radial Velocity Spectrometer (RVS). Its goal is to derive radial velocities and rotation velocities for all the stars observed with the RVS (up to magnitude 16-17), and atmospheric parameters and element abundances for the brightest part of the programme. In addition, the Radial Velocity Spectrometer multi-epoch observations are well suited for the identification, classification and characterisation of the many types of double, multiple and variable stars.
