Gaia On-Board Detection Task
TextsObjective: To provide the prescription of the on-board detection algorithm, and the layout of the astrometric sky mapper (ASM) and spectroscopic sky mapper (SSM) of the Gaia satellite.
The activities have now been turned to produce a representative model of the on-board processing. Accordingly, most of the documents, tasks, software, etc, can be found on the Payload Data Handling Support web site.
